Chrysanthemum

Chrysanthemums are perennial flowering members of the aster family (Asteraceae), and the name broadly includes white-flowering varieties like the Shasta Daisy. Technically, the white-flowering types are of the genus Leucanthemum, but they are botanically similar enough to be grouped together here. Painted Daisies Robinson Giants
Perennial (P)
Painted Daisies flash brilliantly from May to July in hot pink, bright fushia, deep rose and scarlet. Extremely easy to grow! Plants grow to heights of 90cm (3 ft) tall! In general, daisies are grown for masses of reliable blooms in late summer and autumn. Do not cover; germinates in 7 to 28 days. Pinch tips for bushier plants.
Shasta Daisy
Perennial (P)
The familiar garden favourite, with pure white petals surrounding an intensely yellow centre, this hardy perennial will eventually form large clumps that can be propagated by division. Grown in a sunny spot, the plants will grow from 30-90cm (1-3’) tall. It is a useful plant for garden borders, and it is attractive to beneficial hoverflies and bees as well as butterflies.
