Ambassador
Replaces Spacemiser. The plants of Ambassador are quite unique: they have a central stem with flowers and then fruit marching up it until it starts to topple over. Definitely not a vine and very space efficient! The zucchini are mid green and easy to see and pick. Keep them picked regularly and they will produce all summer.

Grown this four years so far. Last year grew five plants to maturity. Consistent and very good results. Don't need much water if given space. Overwatered one at the end of the season and it exploded. Watch for that. |

I wasn't happy with the initial cost for ten seeds, but this zucchini is well worth it. My plants are roughly 1.25 meters in diameter, deep, rich green, and amazingly productive. I love seeing their huge flowers opened up in the morning.
Each plant has given about 12 16-17cm zucchinis this season and they're not showing signs of giving up. Awesome! I can't wait to grow them again next year. They're such satisfying, lush, productive plants. |
